l = 98-2 = 96cm
b = 84-2 = 82cm
h = 77-2 = 75cm

Volume of a cuboid = lbh
= 96×82×75
= 590,400cm³ or 0.590m³

The capacity of wood is 548960 cubic cm

Step-by-step explanation:

External length = 98 cm

External breadth = 84 cm

External Height = 77 cm

The wood is 2 cm thick all round.

Internal length = 98-(2+2)=94 cm

Internal Breadth = 84 cm -(2+2)= 80 cm

Internal height = 77-(2+2)=73 cm

Capacity of box = Length \times Breadth \times Height = 94 \times 80 \times 73 =548960 cm^3

Hence The capacity of wood is 548960 cubic cm
