Explanation:

since the person has myopia so THE NATURE OF THE LENS IS CONCAVE

Power of the lens Power = 1 / Focal length

as the focal length of concave len is 80 cm that is 0.8 m

So Power = 1 / 0.8

Power = - 1.25 Dioptre

This negative sign indicates that the lens used is concave.

We have two eyes for vision because if we would have on eye then the image formed will be in 2D and flat which will make it difficult to recognize the distance of the object.

when we see with two eyes then due to parallax we see the object in 3d and able to recognize the distance to object
