Hii mate!!

Here's your answer.

Solution -:Myopic eye needs concave lens.

Given, v=-80cm

u=infinte

Using lens formula, 1/F=1/v -1/u

1/F=-1/80 -1/infinite

1/F=-1/80 - 0

1/F=-1/80

F= -80cm=-0.8m

As power =1/F

p= -1/0.8

p= -1.25D

Hope it helps you.

\huge\boxed{\underline{\mathcal{\red{A}\green{N}\pink{S}\orange{W}\blue{E}\pink{R}}}}

Given, distance of far point x = 80 cm

To view distant objects correctly, focal length of the corrective lens, f = -x = -80cm

Power of the lens P (in meters) = (1/ -0.8) = -1.25D

The lens is concave of power = -1.25D
