Answer:Draw a parallel line from DE intersecting AB at G.

So AGEF is a rectangle with length 1.2m & Breadth 0.3 m

Area= LxB= 1.2x0.3=0.36 cm2

CDGB is a trapezium with parallel sides on length 0.6 & (1.8-0.3)= 1.5 m with distance between them as GD= DE+ EG=0.8+1.2 m= 2.0 m

So Trapezium Area is 1/2x(0.6+1.5)x2.0

Viz 2.1 M2

So total area is Rectungular Area of AGEF added to Trapezium CDGB

0.36+2.1 m2

2.46 m2
