Given : a parallelogram, ABCD when AB=15cm and BC=10 cm

DE=12cm

To Find  : Area

Perimeter

Solution:

Opposite sides of parallelogram area equal

Hence perimeter = 2 ( sum of adjacent sides)

=> Perimeter = 2 ( AB + BC)

=> Perimeter = 2 ( 15 + 10)

=> Perimeter  = 50 cm

Area = Base * corresponding height

=> Area = BE * DE

=> Area = 10 * 12 = 120 cm²

Perimeter  = 50 cm

Area = 120 cm²
