Answer :

Answer : (a) PS = 6 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :- In trapezium PQRS , PQ= 14m , RS = 10m

Ar(PQRS ) = 72m² perimeter (PQRS) = 37.2m²

To find:- length of(a) PS

(b)QR=

Soln:- Here ,

the altitude of trapezium is equal to side SP

.°. Ar (trapezium PQRS) = 1/ 2 × sum of parallel sides × altitude

72 = 1/2 × (10+14) × SP 72 = 1/2 × 24 × SP

(cross multiply it )

SP=72/12

.°. PS = 6 m

here ,

here , perimeter of trapezium = sum of all sides

here , perimeter of trapezium = sum of all sides

37.2m = 10 + 6 + 14 + side RQ

RQ = 37.2 - 30

here , perimeter of trapezium = sum of all sides 37.2m = 10 + 6 + 14 + side RQ 37.2m = 10 + 6 + 14 + side RQ RQ = 37.2 - 30 37.2m = 10 + 6 + 14 + side RQ RQ = 37.2 - 30

.°. QR = 7.2 m

Hope it helps u
