Given that,

If tuning fork  vibrates with frequency N.

Tension = T

When a string of linear density m under tension T and vibrate in n loops .

The frequency is defined as,

N=\dfrac{n}{2l}\sqrt{\dfrac{T}{m}}

If T = 4 p

l =\dfrac{l}{m}

We need to calculate the value of N

Using formula of frequency

N=\dfrac{n}{2l}\sqrt{\dfrac{T}{m}}

Put the value into the formula

N=\dfrac{nm}{2l}\sqrt{\dfrac{4p}{m}}

N^2=\dfrac{n^2m^2}{4l^2}\times\dfrac{4p}{m}

N^2=\dfrac{n^2mp}{l^2}

N=\dfrac{n}{l}\sqrt{mp}

Hence, The value of N is \dfrac{n}{l}\sqrt{mp}
