Answer:

39

Step-by-step explanation:

in an equilateral triangle all the sides are equal so according to this property,

5x+3= 3x+7

5x-3x = 7-3

2x= 4

x= 4/2= 2

so 5x+3= 5(2)+3= 10+3 = 13

3x+7= 3(2)+7= 6+7= 13

so according to the property that all sides of a equilateral triangle are equal,

1+y/3= 3x+7

1+y/3 = 13

(3+y)/3 = 13

3+y = 13×3 = 39

y= 39-3 = 36

so 1+y/3 = 1+(36/3) = 1+12 = 13

so first side = 13

second side= 13

third side = 13

the perimeter of equilateral triangle= 3 × side

= 3×13 = 39

so the perimeter of the triangle is 39cm
