Suppose first consultation fees of Dr. Rahul and Dr.Deshgaurav be x and y respectively.

According to given condition,

x:y=7:2 ...(1)

x-y=900 ...(2)

Solving (1),

x/y=7/2

y=2x/7

Putting this in (2),

x-2x/7=900

7x-2x=6300

5x=6300

x=1260 Rs

y=x-900

y=1260-900

y=360 Rs

Hence consulting fees of Dr.Rahul and Dr.Deshgaurav will be Rs.1260 and Rs.360 respectively.
