Even though there is no accurate date of the the time period of printing books, however, it is believed that between 618 and 907 AD that is, around the period of the Tang Dynasty, was the first time any book was printed and that too, in the country of China.
It is the oldest extant book which has been printed and it is the work of the Diamond Sutra.
This dates back to 868 AD, also, during the Tang Dynasty.
