Given Equation:

2x^2 - 3x

Value:

x = -2

Explanation:

p(-2) = 2 ( -2)^2 - 3 ( -2)

p(-2) = 2 ( 4) + 6

p(-2) = 8 + 6

p(-2) = 14

Answer:

Required Answer :-

p (x) = 2x² - 3x

Putting the value of x in the equation.

→ p(-2) = 2(-2)² - (3 × -2)

→ p(-2) = (2 × -2 × -2) - (-6)

→ p(-2) = (2 × 4) + 6

→ p(-2) = 8 + 6

→ p(-2) = 14

∴ The value of 2x² - 3x when x is -2 is 14.
