Given : two building a and b a woman walks out of building b to get some sunshine  First sunray blocked by building A is also the first sunray blocked by building B

 

To Find : how much min distance will she have to walk in right direction of building b

Solution:

Let say Woman has to walk  x  meter

as Buildings are parallel  

so Two similar triangles are formed

Hence  x / ( x + 25)  = 30/50

=> x/(x + 25) = 3/5

=> 5x = 3x + 735

= > 2x  = 75

=> x = 37.5 0

Woman has to walk 37.50 m
