Let a = first term, l = last term and d = common difference of the AP.
then,
l = a + (n-1)d
=> 350 = 17 + (n-1)9
=> 350 = 9n +17-9
=> 350 = 9n + 8
=> 9n = 350-8 = 342
thus number of terms = n = 38
Now, sum of all the terms = n/2 (a+l)
=> 38/2 (17 +350)
=> 19 x 367
=> 6973.
then,
l = a + (n-1)d
=> 350 = 17 + (n-1)9
=> 350 = 9n +17-9
=> 350 = 9n + 8
=> 9n = 350-8 = 342
thus number of terms = n = 38
Now, sum of all the terms = n/2 (a+l)
=> 38/2 (17 +350)
=> 19 x 367
=> 6973.
