This is a general equation for three terms in an AP
2 times middle term = first term + second term
2b = a+c
2(3y+5) = 3y-1+5y-1
6y+10= 8y-2
2y = 12
y = 6

bro your 1 step is wrong comman difference is 4 check it again and you will found your mistake
Not at all bro . Common difference is 6 not 4 .. if it was wrong then the answer would come wrong . But ur ans n my ans are the same .
