rhombus such that the lengths of the two
diagonals of the hall are 12 m and 16 m.
Find the cost of painting the floor at the

Given :-

  • Diagonal 1 = 12m
  • Diagonal 2 = 16m
  • Cost of painting = 6.50 / m²

To find :-

Cost of painting the floor

Area of the floor :-

Area of rhombus = 1/2 × d1 × d2

Area of rhombus = 1/2 × 12 × 16

Area of rhombus = 96 m²

Cost of painting :-

Cost of painting = 6.5 × 96

Cost of painting = 624
