Step-by-step explanation:

Length of the hall=18m

breadth of the hall=15m

area=l×b

=(18×15)sq.m

=270sq.m

width of the carpet=0.75m

length of the carpet=area/width

=(270/0.75)m

=360m

If it costs Rs.6 per meter, then

for 360m=Rs.360×6

=Rs.2160

Cost of carpet= Rs.2160

Step-by-step explanation:

Area\ of\ rectangular\ hall= length\times breadth

                                       =18m\times 15m

                                       = 270 m^2

Area of rectangular hall= Area of carpet

270 m^2=width\ of\ carpet \times length\ of\ carpet

270 m^2=0.75 m \times length\ of\ carpet

Length\ of\ carpet=270/0.75

                          =360 cm

Now,Cost\ of\ carpet= Cost\ of\ 1 m \times Length\ of\ carpet

                               = 6× 360

                               =Rs.2160
