The area of rectangle with green and white marbles is 3.92 m^2

Step-by-step explanation:

  • Area of the  bigger rectangle = 6 × 4.2 = 25.2 m^2
  • Length  of the  smaller rectangle = 6−2(0.2)m=5.6 m
  • Breadth of the smaller rectangle = 4.2 − 2(0.2) = 3.8 m
  • Area of the rectangle with white marble = 5.6 × 3.8 =21.28 m^2

So, area of the rectangle with green marble=Area of the  bigger rectangle− area of the rectangle with white marble = 25.2 − 21.28 = 3.92 m^2

Hence the area of rectangle with green and white marbles is 3.92 m^2
