the followers of a celebrity are increasing at the rate of 25% per week. the present no. of followers are 45000. what will be the total no. of followers after 3 weeks ?

Given:

The rate of increase of followers = r = 25% per week

The present number of flowers = P = 45000

The time period for increase = t = 3 weeks

To Find :

The Numbers of flowers after 3 weeks  

Solution :

Let The Number of flowers after 3 weeks = N

According to question

∵  Number of flowers after n weeks = present number of flowers × (1+\dfrac{rate}{100})^{time}

So, Number of flowers after 3 weeks = present number of flowers × (1+\dfrac{rate}{100})^{3}

Or, N = P  × (1+\dfrac{r}{100})^{3}

Or, N = 45000   × (1+\dfrac{25}{100})^{3}

Or,  N = 45000   × ( 1.25 )³

∴  N =  45000   × 1.953125

i.e Numbers = N = 87890

Hence, The Number of flowers after 3 weeks is 87890  Answer
