The following are the views available in MS Project except for the Read Mode view.

  • Gantt Chart View: There are two parts: a table on the left and a graph on the right. A Gantt chart typically includes the names of the tasks, their start and end dates, their durations, and a bar chart that is created based on the duration of the tasks. Names, lengths, and beginning and ending dates are displayed in tables on the left, and a bar chart, also known as a Gantt chart, is displayed in the graph on the right.
  • Resource Sheet View: The only table with frequently used columns is in this view. This view allows us to add, remove, or edit resource information. To edit specific resource information, open the Resource Information dialogue box by double clicking on a resource row or by choosing Information on the Resource Tab.
  • Task Usage View: Task Usages is the view to use if we want to see tasks and resources together. There are two parts to it. A table is on the left, and resource allocation is on the right. A list of the resources assigned to a task is also visible in this view. On the right side, it shows the resource allocation for tasks by day.
