Solution:-

mode = l +  \frac{f0 - f1}{2f0 - f1 - f2}  \times h \\

l = 60 \\ h = 20 \\ fo = 52 \\f 1  = 61\\ f2 = 38

mode = 60 +  \frac{61 - 52}{2 \times 61 - 52 - 38}  \times 20 \\ =  60 +  \frac{9}{32}  \times 20 \\  = 60 + 5.62 \\  = 65.62

Answer:

65.625

Step-by-step explanation:

mode = L+(\frac{F1-F0}{2F1-F0-F2} ) × H

L = Lower limit

H = Class size

F 1 = Frequency of the modal class

F 0 = Frequency of the preceding modal class

F 2 = Frequency of the succeeding modal class

60+(\frac{61-52}{2(61)-52-38}) × H

60+(\frac{9}{122-52-38} ) × 20

60 + (\frac{9}{32} ) × 20

60+(\frac{45}{8} )\\\\60+5.625\\\\= 65.625
