b) median = 11

total number = 21 (odd)

(n th + 1 /2 ) , n = 21

21+1/2 = 22/2 = 11

therefore median = 11 .

c) mean =  

mean = sum of observations / no of observations

2+1+3+4+2+2+1+3+2+6+4+3+3+2+1+1+3+2+1+1+2+/21+

=49/21=2.333....

therefore mean = 2.333.....
