The following displacement time graph shows the positions of a body at different times. Calculate the velocity of the body as it moves from
i) A-B
(ii) B-C
(iii) C-D

Answer: we know that,

Velocity =Displacement/ time

Now,

According to graph:

V= final d-initial d/final t- initial t

1= A-B

V= 3-0/5-2

V=3/3

V = 1 m/s

2 = B-C

V= 3-0/7-5

V= 1.5 m/s

3= C-D

V=10-7/10-7

V=1 m/s
