Solution :-

Assume AOC is a straight line .

So,

→ ∠AOB + ∠BOC = 180° { Linear pair angles. }

then,

→ (7x + 20°) + 3x = 180°

→ 7x + 3x + 20° = 180°

→ 10x + 20° = 180°

→ 10x = 180° - 20°

→ 10x = 160°

→ x = 16°

therefore, when x is equal to 16° , AOC would be a straight line .
