Given observation are:

29, 32, 48, 50, x, x+2, 72, 78, 84, 95

Total number of observation n = 10

Given, median = 63

=> (5th value of observation + 6th value of observation)/2 = 63

[if number of observation is even then median = mean of (n/2)th value of observation + {(n/2) + 1}th value

of observation]

=> (x + x + 2)/2 = 63

=> (2x + 2)/2 = 63

=> 2x + 2 = 63*2

=> 2x + 2 = 126

=> 2x = 126-2

=> 2x = 124

=> x = 124/2

=> x = 62

Hence, the value of x is 62

and value of x+2 = 64
