Answer:

i) Hockey - 25 students

Tennis - 35 students

In total there are 180 students

ii) The difference is 20 students

Step-by-step explanation:

i) 90° is 25 % of the circle. This means that the total number of students is 4×45=180

Now we need to find x, we cand do so by making an equation:

90+60+(x-20)+20+x+70=360°

220+2x=360

2x=140

x=70°

Now we calculate how many students are playing Tennis:

(70×180)÷360=35 students

Now we can calculate how many students play Hockey (they take up 50°)

(50×180)÷360=25 students

ii) First, we calculate what is the sum of students who play Badminton and Basketball:

So together these students take up 90° so this means that 45 students paly these sports (same number as Cricket)

Now, we calculate how many people play Football and tennis:

Together they take up 130°, so:

(130×180)÷360= 65

Finally, we substract

65-45=20 students
