Answer:

1)k.e of car

Let the mass=m

Velocity=v

So the k.e=1/2*m*v^2………………….. (1)

2) k.e of the truck

Let the mass= M

Velocity=v

So k.e=1/2*M*v^2………………………(2)

When we compare (1) and(2) we find that all other quantities being the same cancel out each other. But the mass of the truck(M)being much greater than that of the car(m), the truck will have more kinetic energy than the car.

In a nutshell, the truck will have mor kinetic energy than the car given that they are travelling at equal velocities.
