R vector = [(600)2 + (-500)2]1/2

R = [360000  +  250000]1/2  =  6100001/2

R = 781.02 N

This is reult of the subtraction of the vector through diagram

than angle that that R vector makes with the 500 N vector is

Tanθ  = 600/500

θ  = Tan-1(6/5)
   = 50.19o

F1=500N,east F2=600N,north

S=√(500)^2+(600)^2

=√250000+360000

=√610000

=781N

Tanβ=600/500

=1.2000

.β=50degree(south of east)
