Your Answer Dear :-  False

But stored in roots and stem parts...

--> Generally in cold season the leaves of the plants shed off , While leaf being photosynthetic part in absence of it, There will be no food syntesis occur.

--> So, In Advance plants use to store food in the form of the starch so that if such type of condition occur than cells of Stem , Roots and Branches etc.. can survive by using this stored food in the form of starch.

--> And, Even during these food is transported from stem / roots to other parts instead of being translocated from leaf to others parts of plants..

I hope it helps you Dear.....
