Biggest problem with Indian farmers is that they don't apply their brains before choosing which crop to grow they generally grow the product which was marketed at a great price.

As this year MP saw a high yield of onions and images and news of onions rotting spread everywhere.

Farmers has always yielded onions but when prices soared in the years 2010-11 the land under that cultivation doubled in next five years resulting in plenty of production.

When prices has a downfall for 3 successive years the MP government offered an MSP for onions for first time in 2016 and gained about 1 million quintals.

The foremost problem associated with modern agriculture in India is that of weather related factors. As most of the India's agriculture depends mostly on the rainfall of that place as because of the fact the irrigation system is not fully developed in most of the places. So as a result of there is a slight difference in the rainfall of that place, they may be a huge problem related to the agriculture of the place. Another factor is selling of the goods in wrong prices. The farmers are not getting the required payment.
