Fog consists of very minute water droplets suspended in the air or it consists of a mixture of smoke or fine dust particles. It reduces the horizontal range of visibility to less than 1km. During fog, the air remains calm and humid. Fog is also a form of precipitation which deposits on the leaves of the crop plants.

Hail - Irregular shape of ice with diameter ranging from 5 to 50mm or more. These are generally associated with prolonged thunderstorms associated with cumulonimbus clouds containing strong updrafts. Fast moving hails damage the crops, which may be more severe at harvesting stage.
