The formula of oxygrn is O2 and ammonia is NH3. Describe what these formulae tell you about each substance.

These formulae tell us that how many atoms are present in that element's one molecule.
Like, O2 means that oxygen has two atoms in each molecule whereas NH3 means that there are one noticed son and three hydrogen atoms in one molecule of ammonia.
