Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen - French constitution

Explanation:

The significance of the word man and citizen is the distinction between people who live in France apart from the citizens of the country. Every man, all men without exception, have equal rights to liberty, security, equality and property. Every one has the right to worship as you wish. However citizens, those who were born in the country, have some specific duties and rights like the right to vote in elections for public officials, right to apply for federal employment, and right to run for elected office.
