The frequencies of two sound sources are 512 Hz and 516 Hz on sounding them together find the number of beat per second and time interval between the two consecutive beats

a frequency of 512Hz means one peak of sound is seperated by a time period of 1/512 sec

similarly for other frequency it is 1/516 sec

so the time interval between two consecutive beat is the difference between timeperiod of both frequencies.

that is 1/512-1/516
