frequency \nu = 200 Hz = 200 cycles/sec.

It means that the air particles vibrate to and fro 200 times in one second.

In one minute or 60 seconds, the source of sound vibrates 200 * 60
        = frequency * time duration  = 12, 000 cycles.

Frequency = 200 Hz = 200 cycles/second

In 60 seconds the source of sound vibrates = frequency × time duration                                                                                 =  200 × 60

                                                          =      12, 000 cycles.
