Rs 573 is cost of the whitewashing the front wall at the rate of 20 Rs /m² and painting the door , windows, and the ventilator at the rate of 40 Rs /m²

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of Front Wall = 5 * 4 = 20 m²

Area of Door = 2 * 1 = 2 m²

Area of Two windows = 2  * 1 * (7/10) = 1.4 m²

Area of a Ventilator =(5/10) * (5/10)  = 0.25 m²

Area of Triangle = (1/2) * 5 * 2 = 5 m²

Area of Front wall = 20 + 5 - 2 - 1.4 - 0.25

= 21.35 m²

cost of the whitewashing the front wall at the rate of 20 rupees per square

= 20 * 21.35

=  427 Rs

Area of Door + Area of Two windows + Area of a Ventilator   2 + 1.4 + 0.25

= 3.65 m²

Cost of Painting = 40 *3.65 = Rs 146

Total Cost = 427 + 146  = 573 Rs
