Given:

GCD = 16

To find:

x and y = ?

Solution:

x and y = ?

GCD =16

first four quotients = 2

\Rightarrow  \frac{464}{192} \\\\\Rightarrow  \frac{16 \times 29}{16 \times 12} \\\\\Rightarrow  HCF = GCF =16

\Rightarrow \ HCF \times \ first \ quotients (2) + r_0\\\\\Rightarrow  r_0 \times 2 +r_1\\\\\Rightarrow r_1 \times 2+ r_2\\\\\Rightarrow r_2 \times 2+ 0

16 \times 2 + 0\\32 \times 2 + 16\\80 \times 2 + 32\\192 \times 2 + 80\\

The value of x and y is: x = 464 \ \ \ y = 192 \\\\
