angle of the unshaded portion = 360 - 90 = 270
Radius of circle = 40 cm
area of unshaded portion = (270/360)×pi×r×r
=3.14×(3/4)×1600 = 3.14 × 1200 = 3768 Sq cm

Area of unshaded portion = 3768 Sq cm
