Rs 1.25 spend on the quail eggs

Step-by-step explanation:

Chicken eggs   20 paise each = 0.2 Rs

century eggs     90 paise each = 0.9 Rs

Quail eggs        5 paise each  = 0.05 Rs

Let say total egges bought  = 8E

chicken eggs = (1/4) 8E  = 2E

Censuary Egss =  (1/8)8E = E

Quail Egss = 8E - 2E - E  = 5E

Reiyanka spent a total amount of 6.50on the chicken and century eggs

=> 2E * 0.2  +  E * 0.9  = 6.5

=> 1.3E = 6.5

=> E = 5

spend on the quail eggs = 5E * 0.05  = 0.25E

= 0.25 * 5

= 1.25 Rs

Rs 1.25 spend on the quail eggs
