we know , for a < 0 , |a| = - a

For x, y > 0.

we draw :- x + y = 4.

For, x < 0 , y > 0

We draw :- - x + y. = 4.

For , x < 0 , y < 0

we draw :- - x - y = 4.

For , x >0 , y < 0.

we draw :- x - y = 4.

The four lines intersect at ( 4,0) , (0,4) , (-4, 0) , ( 0 , -4) and the resultant figure is a square.
