Its features ate- a) Plateau has broaf, shallow valleys and rounded hills b) It has 2 divisions- Central Highlands and Deccan Plateau. c) Peninsular plateau is the black soil area known as Deccan Trap. This is of volcanic origin hence the rocks are igneous rocks.
