The Gupta Empire from 3rd century to 6th century is known as golden age of India. Indian art, literature, mathematics, philosophy, and science achieved greater heights under the Gupta kingdom especially, during the reign of king Chandragupta II. Many Hindu temples built in these periods. Famous Ajantha paintings made in this period. The ayurveda medicine developed in this period. Mostly political unity of India brought by the Gupta emperors. The famous poet kavi Kalidasa wrote the achievements of rule and people's peaceful and happy living and Beauty of the period.
