We know that -


For any two numbers a and b,


H. C. F of ( a, b ) × L. C. M of ( a , b ) = a × b .


Here , we are given the following values -


H. C. F of ( a, b ) = 25


L. C. M of ( a , b ) = 5525


a = 325


=> 25 × 5525 = 325 b .


=> b = { 25 × 5525 } / 325


=> b = 138125 / 325


=> b = 425 .


Thus , the other number is 425.


This is the required answer.
