Answer: There were tears falling down the from the eyes of the Happy Prince as when he was alive and had a human heart,he did not know what tears were. He lived in a place of Sans-Souci,where sorrow was not allowed to enter.Now they have put him up so high that he can see all the ugliness and the misery of his own city.His heart was made of lead but he could not choose to weep.
