Answer:-

  • HCF = 19
  • LCM = 114

  • One number is 38

we have to calculate the another number

Let the another number be n.

As we know that ,

  • Product of HCF & LCM = Product of Two Number

Substitute the value we get

:\implies HCF × LCM = 38 × n

:\implies 19×114 = 38×n

:\implies 2166 = 38 × n

:\implies 38×n = 2166

:\implies n = 2166/38

:\implies n = 57

  • Hence, the another number is 57 .

Given that , The HCF and LCM of two number are 19 and 114 , respectively & one of the number is 38 .

Need To Find : The other number ?

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━⠀

❍ Let's say that another number be x .

As , We know that ,

\qquad \star \:\:\underline {\boxed{ \pink{\pmb{\bf{ \:Product \:of \:two \:numbers\:=\:\:H.C.F \:\:\times \:L.C.M \:\: \:}}}}}\\\\

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Where ,

  • H.C.F ( or Highest Common Factor ) is 19 ,
  • L.C.M ( or Lowest Common Factor ) is 114 &
  • One of the number is 38 .

\qquad \dashrightarrow \sf  \:\:H.C.F \:\:\times \:L.C.M \:\:=\:\:First \:\:Number\:\:\times Other \:Number \\\\

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀\underline {\boldsymbol{\star\:Now \: By \: Substituting \: the \: known \: Values \::}}\\\\

\qquad \dashrightarrow \sf  \:\:H.C.F \:\:\times \:L.C.M \:\:=\:\:First \:\:Number\:\:\times Other \:Number \\\\\qquad \dashrightarrow \sf  \:\:19 \:\:\times \:114 \:\:=\:\:38\:\:\times x \\\\\qquad \dashrightarrow \sf  \:\:2166 \:\:=\:\:38\:\:\times x \\\\\qquad \dashrightarrow \sf  \:\:\dfrac{2166}{28} \:\:=\:\: x \\\\\qquad \dashrightarrow \sf  \:\:\cancel {\dfrac{2166}{28}} \:\:=\:\: x \\\\\qquad \dashrightarrow \sf  \:\:57 \:\:=\:\: x \\\\\qquad \dashrightarrow \sf  \:\:x \:\:=\:\: 57 \\\\\qquad \therefore \:\: \underline{\boxed{\purple {\pmb {\frak{ \:\: x\:\:(\:or \:Other \:number\:)\:=\: 57 \:\:}}}}}\\\\

Therefore,

  • Other number is x = 57

\qquad \therefore \:\:\underline {\sf \: Hence, \:The \:other \:number \: is \: \bf 57 \:}\\\\
