The HCF and LCM of two numbers are 48 and 288 respectively. One of the numbers is 144. Find the other number.​

We know that , H.C.F × L.C.M = Product of those two numbers

Now , Let the another number be x .

So,

48 × 288 = 144 × x

or, x = 48 × 288 / 144

or, x = 48 ×2

or, x = 96
