let the another number be x.
45x=9×360
x=9×360÷45
x=360÷5
x=72.
therefore another number is 72

\sf GivEn \begin{cases} & \sf{HCF\;of\;two\; numbers = 9 }  \\ & \sf{LCM\;of\;two\; numbers = 360 } \\ & \sf{One\;number = 45} \end{cases}

We have to find, The other number.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

✇ Let the another number be x.

✇ And, the one number is = 45 \\ \\

We know that,

\star\;{\boxed{\sf{\purple{HCF \times LCM = Product\;of\;both\;numbers}}}}\\ \\

Putting values,

:\implies\sf 9 \times 360 = 45 \times x\\ \\

:\implies\sf x = \dfrac{9 \times 360}{45}\\ \\

:\implies\sf x = \cancel{ \dfrac{3240}{45}}\\ \\

:\implies{\boxed{\frak{\pink{72}}}}\;\bigstar\\ \\

\therefore Hence, The another number is 72.

\boxed{\underline{\underline{\bigstar \: \bf\:More\:to\:know\:\bigstar}}} \\  \\

  • HCF (Highest common factor) = Highest factor present between two numbers.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

  • LCM (least common multiple) = Least number which is exactly divisible by two or more numbers.
