Given,

The first number is the smallest two digit composite number.

And, the second number is the fifth multiple of 7.

To find,

The HCF of the given two numbers.

Solution,

First of all, we need to calculate the the two numbers.

The composite number is a number which has minimum two factors. And, the smallest two digit number is 10 which also has two factors (ie. 5 and 2). So, 10 will be the smallest two digit composite number itself.

And, the fifth multiple of 7 is = 7×5 = 35

So,the two numbers are = 10,35

Now, we have to calculate the HCF or (Highest Common Factor) of the two numbers,

Prime factors,

10 = 2

35 = 5×7

So, HCF = 5

Hence,the HCF or Highest Common Factor of the given numbers is 5.
