Let other number be x

One number = 35

L.C.M = 210

H.C.F = 7

=============================

We have formula :-

\Large{\boxed{\boxed{\green{\sf{Product \: of \: No. \: = \: L.C.M \times H.C.F}}}}}

_______________[Put Values]

⟹ 35 * x = 210 * 7

⟹ 35x = 1470

⟹ x = 1470/35

⟹ x = 42

\huge{\sf{x \: = \: 42}}

•°• Other number will be 42

Question :

The HCF of two numbers is 7 and LCM is 210. If one of the number is 35, then what is the another number ?

Solution :

\underline{\bold{Given:}}

  • HCF of the two numbers=7
  • LCM of the two numbers=210
  • One number = 35

\underline{\bold{To\:Find:}}

  • The another number .

\boxed{\pink{Another\:number =  \frac{ HCF\times LCM}{One \:number}}}

 \implies Another\:number =  \frac{ HCF\times LCM}{One \:number} \\  \\\implies Another\:number =  \frac{ 7\times 210}{35} \\\\ \implies Another\:number = 42

\fbox{\green{\therefore {The\:another\:number \:is\:42.}}}

\underline{\bold{Verification:}}

\boxed{\because{\blue{Product\:of\:two\:numbers=HCF\times LCM}}}

\implies Product\:of\:two\:numbers=HCF\times LCM\\\implies 35\times 42=7\times 210 \\\implies 1470=1470\\\implies LHS=RHS
