\sf\small\red{Given:-}

  • Shadow = 15m.

  • Building = 45m.

  • Angle = 45° .

\sf\small\red{Find:-}

  • Find the distance between the tree and the building.

\sf\small\red{Solution:-}

First finding AB:-

\rm\rightarrow\frac{BD}{AB} = tan 45°

\rm\rightarrow\frac{15}{AB} = 1

\rm\rightarrow \fbox \pink{ AB = 15}

Now, Find AC :-

\rm\rightarrow \frac{EC}{AC} = Tan  \: 45°

\rm\rightarrow \frac{AC}{EC} = Tan  \: 45°

\rm\rightarrow EC = AC

\rm\rightarrow\fbox\pink{ AC = 45m}

Final value,

\rm\rightarrow BC = AC - AB

\rm\rightarrow 45 - 15

\rm\dashrightarrow 30

\rule{36mm}{1mm}
