Given

Height and base of parallelogram are in the ratio 5:4.

Area of parallelogram =1620²m

To Find

Base and height of parallelogram

\sf\huge\bold{\underline{\underline{{Solution}}}}

\sf\boxed{\bold{Area\: of\: parallelogram =base\times height}}

The height and base are given in ratio form so ,let us assume that the height and base be 5x and 4x.

Now ,we will use parallelogram area formula and equate both sides and hence find the value of x.

Area of parallelogram=5x × 4x

=>1620=20x²

=>20x²=1620

=>=1620/20

=>=162/2=81

We know that 81 is the square root of 9

[√81=√9×9=9]

=>x=√81=9

X=9

Height =5x=5×9=45 m

Base =4x=4×9=36m

∴Height of parallelogram is \bold{\red{45m}}

And base of parallelogram is\bold{\red{ 36m}}

Check:

Area of parallelogram=Base ×height

=>36m×45m=>1620m²

Answer:

Given

Height and base of parallelogram are in the ratio 5:4.

Area of parallelogram =1620²m

To Find

Base and height of parallelogram

\sf\huge\bold{\underline{\underline{{Solution}}}}

Solution

\sf\boxed{\bold{Area\: of\: parallelogram =base\times height}}

Areaofparallelogram=base×height

The height and base are given in ratio form so ,let us assume that the height and base be 5x and 4x.

Now ,we will use parallelogram area formula and equate both sides and hence find the value of x.

Area of parallelogram=5x × 4x

=>1620=20x²

=>20x²=1620

=>x²=1620/20

=>x²=162/2=81

We know that 81 is the square root of 9

[√81=√9×9=9]

=>x=√81=9

X=9

Height =5x=5×9=45 m

Base =4x=4×9=36m

∴Height of parallelogram is \bold{\red{45m}}45m

And base of parallelogram is\bold{\red{ 36m}}36m

Check:

Area of parallelogram=Base ×height

=>36m×45m=>1620m²

hope it is helpful thank you
